How physics PINNs improve time accuracy in HawkLens

We’re applying physics-informed models so total time, effective time, and productive time stay consistent — even when the workday is messy.

HawkLens already captures live activity, idle, meetings, and breaks. The next leap is accuracy: making those streams add up to a timeline people believe.

Physics-informed neural networks give us a way to do that. We treat a workday as a dynamical system: focus rises, interruptions inject friction, recovery takes time. The model is penalized when its timeline violates those priors.

What gets better

Idle edges become cleaner. Short false idles do not shatter a productive block. Meeting overlap is reconciled with app activity. Gaps in sparse telemetry are filled with physics-consistent estimates instead of zeros or wild guesses.

That lifts time accuracy for payroll-adjacent reporting, client invoices, and Focus Timeline reviews — without asking employees to babysit a timer.

Grounded in HawkBytes research

This work sits inside HawkBytes’ broader AI and applied research practice: take a hard modeling problem, ship it as a product feature people can feel in the dashboard.

PINNs are not a buzzword banner. They are how we make the clock honest.
